Subliminal Therapy — Research
INFORMATION FOR PROFESSIONALS
Research: Documenting Effectiveness
In addition to controlled research on it efficacy, refining the Subliminal Therapy technique, and understanding which disorders respond best to the therapy, is an important focus of the Institute. Since 2008, Dr. Yager has been formally documenting the effectiveness of Subliminal Therapy with compelling results. According to questionnaires completed before and after their treatments, his patients reported an average improvement in their symptoms of 77% (SD = 42), after an average of 3.5 hours of treatment!
Dr. Yager has successfully applied Subliminal Therapy in treating a wide variety of problems, both mental and physical. These problems have the common denominator of being psychogenic, that is, they are the consequence of life experiences; they are manifestations of influences carried forward from earlier experiences. Moreover, almost without exception, the patient has no conscious awareness of the cause or memory of the precipitating event.
Research on the effectiveness of Subliminal Therapy in the form of clinical trials is planned to begin in mid 2014. These trials will be focused on the application of Subliminal Therapy in a series of disorders including anxiety, depression, addictions, compulsions and phobias, as well as physical problems such as chronic pain, bronchial asthma, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and stress-induced hypertension.
Future research is planned to develop application techniques, including the use of a computer in lieu of a person to guide the protocol, and defining alternate means of perceiving communications from Centrum.
Future research by STI will include studies focused on the application of Subliminal Therapy in a series of disorders including anxiety, depression, addictions, compulsions and phobias, as well as physical problems such as chronic pain, bronchial asthma, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and stress-induced hypertension.

Support the Institute
The Subliminal Therapy Institute is dedicated to changing lives by helping people find relief from physical and mental suffering. Your help is needed to fund the work of the Institute.
The functions of the Institute are funded by three means: donations, fees from clinicians-in-training, and research grants. Promotions of the Subliminal Therapy Institute depend on all three of these sources; all are indispensable.
All monies received from donations go directly to support the three goals of the Institute: conducting controlled research into the effectiveness of Subliminal Therapy, training licensed clinicians in the application of Subliminal Therapy and informing the public about the effectiveness and availability of Subliminal Therapy.
The Institute is a Federally approved 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation; your donations are tax deductible. Receipts are provided for all donations and as a gesture of appreciation, donors giving $250 or more will receive a DVD recording of a treatment session in which Subliminal Therapy was employed.
Honor a Loved One:
A Memorial Donation gives you a thoughtful, caring way to honor a loved one while contributing to the mission of the Institute and helping others.
Once we process your information, and with your permission, the honoree of your choosing will receive a letter notifying them that you have made a gift in their name.
Make a Stock Gift:
You can avoid capital gains and give back at the same time. If you have owned them for more than a year, you can get an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of your contributed stocks or mutual funds, and tax on the capital gains can be avoided when you donate them to the Institute.
